海边人(白石店) Fishermans Chinese Fusion

First time to this place after passing by for many times. Never expect their foods were so good. From menu I have difficulties to choose from because their foods looks so different from authentic chinese restaurant. Taste are good with their own unique taste. The staff who works there also very friendly. Restaurant environment is very good and comfortable, clean and spacious. Will definitely come back next time to try their dimsum. Price wise is considered on higher side, but I still thinks that its worth a penny. I would recommend to give them a try.

Had a very excellent lunch here for Christmas Day. We ordered dim sum as well as their lunch special. Everything came out quickly and tasted authentic and fresh. Big portions as well at a great value. Service was friendly and attentive. We wish they had “sweet soy sauce” though like other dim sum places. Would definitely return and really happy there is good dim sum in White Rock again.

The deep fried lean pork slice with sweet and sour sauce was amazing. The beef stir-fried noodles recommended by the server were also incredibly delicious. The restaurant was quiet since we were the only ones there. I’ll definitely come back next time.

I went to this restaurant first time on June 9th 2024. Nice lunch special I had with some dim sums plus the server, Joy, was full of joy for me! I’m glad she served me well. The inside is great like a bit of luxury. I'm coming again next time.

I’ve always been a bit hesitant about fusion restaurants, as the concept can sometimes be hit or miss. However, despite living nearby, I finally decided to give this place a try for lunch—and I’m glad I did! We kept our order simple, opting for classic dim sum staples like ha gow, sui mai, and lotus-wrapped sticky rice, along with a Singapore vermicelli. To my surprise, the flavors and quality were impressively authentic—comparable to some of the best spots in Vancouver and Richmond. The prices were reasonable, the service was warm and attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean, including the washrooms. Plus, plenty of parking made the visit even more convenient. I’m looking forward to coming back to explore their dinner menu!

One of the best Peking ducks in Metro Vancouver—possibly the very best, definitely top three. As of July 2025, the full set costs $70, which is a very fair price compared to another place charging $170. The flavor is impressively authentic, though Canadian ducks aren't as fatty as the ones used in Beijing. Still, as long as it's cooked well, the taste holds up beautifully. > > The only drawback is the spicy salt-and-pepper duck bones. They're not overly spicy, but for those who can't handle heat, it's best to ask the chef to hold the spice—since it's usually not spicy by default.
